Hi All,
It's been a long time since I've shown my work upstate and even longer that my sculptures have left my studio. Thanks to Jen Dragon for including my mixed media sculptures in the third annual ISDay Saugerties, which is part of an international event. Saugerties, New York celebrates International Sculpture Day with a group exhibition of artists who live or work in Saugerties and environs. International Sculpture Day (ISDay) is a world-wide event celebrated on the last Saturday in April to further the goals of the International Sculpture Center to "advance the creation and understanding of sculpture and its vital, unique contribution to society".

Throughout the month of April, Saugerties will join hundreds of artists, organizations and institutions in over 20 countries in celebrating sculpture in all of its manifestations. This 3rd annual celebration will showcase sculpture in all media: from installation art to ceramics, metalwork to woodwork and traditional statues to contemporary artwork installations.

Path train to Newark Penn Station (be sure to look at the wonderfully restored art deco lobby). Taxi are right outside, quick ride to 95 Broadway, the entrance is on Bloomfield place around the corner, but the GPS can’t find Bloomfield place, so we use 95 Broadway.

Fire, rebirth
Exuberance of light in memory.

Resilience
Light emanate
Sea birth.

Hidden allegorical diamond is temporary.

Life’s fire-roasted renewal,
The reawakening.

And rise sunrise waters,
Sea and sky arises.

Ashes box.
Light of incidental shine,
Milkweed a bursting.
